Egg-cellent disaster

The egg experiment was definitely a challenge. Our group did not skip any steps. we followed each step carefully making, by brainstorming multiple alternatives in creating the egg protector. Unfortunately we did not succeed in achieving our objective. One of the reasons why we failed was because, in my opinion, too many variables to consider. For instance, it would've helped if we knew the weight and the actual size of the egg before hand so we can better estimate the impact factor therefore coming up with different strategies and ideas. Overall, our team performed very well, came up with many alternative ideas and executed the plan efficiently.

  1. My group didn't follow every step completely but the only part that we put much thinking in was the part about how to build the barrier. We didn't address issues like who had better skills or which part of the process we should be in by each minute. When it really came time to build the barrier, we just finished things as fast as we could. We barely made it to the finish line as well. Wasn't your group the one with the 3D star-looking barrier? I had high hopes for you guys.

  2. I really thought our Humpty Dumpty 2.0 was going to be successful. We had the best design and team in the class. Our design could have survived if only we had more tape and some extra time.

  3. yea I think if the professor let us feel the actual egg when we were planning the egg protector, probably at least one group would've succeeded.
